The Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Awards will honor and highlight the outstanding achievements of
Massachusetts based, multi-generational, family owned
businesses. The annual awards program brings together the leaders in family business throughout the state.
Hosted by local TV celebrities like Liz Brunner (WCVB) and David Wade (WBZ),
the lineup of speakers for this annual event reads like a “Who’s Who” in the state’s business community. Recent speakers have included Roger Berkowitz of Legal Seafoods, former Massachusetts Gubernatorial Candidate Steve Grossman and
Phyllis Goodwin of Granite City Electric.

You can
nominate a
multi-generational family business in order to recognize the dedication, service
to the community, and/or success it has achieved. Finalists receive significant public recognition including the following:
- An exclusive profile of the business in the
Boston Business Journal;
- An in-depth video highlighting their business;
- On-site recognition at the annual awards show;
- A profile in the awards program; and
- A opportunity to be named a 2009 Family Business of the Year!
